Phosphor — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Phosphor is a personal movie and TV tracking app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

Why we use it

Solely to provide the app: your account, your personal tracking, and notifications you opt into. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not run third-party analytics.

Sharing

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. We rely on service providers to run the app: Google (sign-in), Firebase Cloud Messaging (notification delivery), and TMDB (public movie/TV metadata — we do not send your personal data to TMDB).

Storage & security

Your data is stored on our servers and encrypted in transit (HTTPS). It is retained while your account is active.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data. To delete your account and all data tied to it, open Settings → Delete my account in the app — the deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also request deletion by e-mail at [email protected]. EU users have rights under GDPR.

Children

Phosphor is not directed at children under 13.
